I recently gave Nimo Naturals Sunscreen a try, and this blog post will be my review of the product, evaluating both its pros and cons. Also, please note that essential aspects of the packaging and price have since been changed. I have elaborated on that at the end of the post. If you’re interested, keep reading.
Sunscreen is the most crucial product in your skincare routine because it protects your skin from UVA/UVB Sun rays that cause sunburn, premature aging, and skin cancer.
You should wear sunscreen every single day, whether you’re indoors or outdoors. The sun’s UVA/UVB rays can still get to your skin even when indoors through the windows.
My Review of the Product
The Packaging
At first glance, I like the design of the bottle, it’s simple, classy, and minimalist.
Moreso, I like the shape of the opening, which makes it very easy to apply without using excess.
I appreciate that because sunscreen is mostly sold in small batches, about 50ml, and it is quite expensive, so this will last a good while.

The Product
It is lightweight and easily blends into the skin. I don’t have to rub it into my skin to be absorbed. It doesn’t leave a white cast! More so, it leaves my skin glowing.
In summary, let me conclude the pros and the cons;
Pros
✅Simple, classy, and minimalist bottle design.
✅The bottle-opening design makes the application easy.
✅Lightweight, non-comedogenic, and easily blends into the skin.
✅SPF 50+, which guarantees adequate protection from sunlight.
✅No white cast left!!!
Cons
❌There is no ingredient list anywhere on the packaging. When using skin care products, it’s essential for one to know or at least have an idea of what they are applying to their skin.
❌Unfortunately, this product did not work for me. After about a week of using it, my skin started to break out in small rashes on my forehead, cheeks, and eye area. My skin also became quite sensitive and irritated, so I had to stop using it. I gave it to my sister, though, and it’s worked for her. Perhaps my skin just didn’t like it.
Update:
We spoke, and Nimo Naturals listened! They recently changed the sunscreen packaging, amount, and price.
✅The sunscreen now comes in a box with an ingredient list! Now, you’ll know what you’re applying to your skin.
✅The bottle design has also changed significantly, as shown on the photo below.
✅The amount has increased from 50ml to 80ml.
✅The price has increased from Ksh.1800 to Ksh.2000.
✅The product formula has stayed the same, so you’ll likely get the same result.
In conclusion, I would still vouch for this product. It has great benefits, and the price is reasonable compared to other products in the market. Plus, it’s 80ml. Sun protection is the most essential step in your daily morning skincare routine. Let this be the product that gives you that.
I also filmed and posted a YouTube short of my daily morning routine using Nimo Naturals Products only. This was before I discovered the sunscreen wasn’t working for me! I hope you enjoy it and remember to like, comment, and subscribe on there, too.
Till next post,
Miss Kambe.
