2025 has come and in the blink of an eye, it's gone. Of course, it would be an injustice if I end the year without sharing some of the most profound lessons I've learned this year. This year, I am keeping the short, one to three sentence short. I assure you, they will land. Happy New Year!
Before that, here's today's verse;
Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 2nd Timothy 2:22

Dreams do not have expiration dates.
Comparison is TRULY a thief of joy. I truly believe there's enough success and blessings to go around.
If you want a village, you need to be a villager. That comes with annoyance and/or inconvenience.
Purpose can and should evolve, just as you do as a person.
It's okay to pivot. New journeys can lead to the most incredible destinations.
Being equally yoked goes beyond sharing the same faith.
And, it matters in friendships as well.
Faith/Prayer/Fasting is essential, but it doesn't place you above the principles of hard work, effort, and preparation. Even as a believer, you need to put in the WORK.
ALWAYS pray for alignment in all areas of your life.
Discontentment is an inherent mindset. Even when you achieve your biggest dreams, it will always be there if you don't change.
It's okay to quit.
What's for you won't miss you; it will find you wherever you are. What's not for you will miss you, even when it's right under your nose.
When you give your pain a name, that's when healing begins.
Travel is a good teacher. If you get the opportunity to do so, GO.

Take risks when you're young. Your 'delulu'/naivety could be your biggest advantage. You have energy and are more resilient when you fail.
Your next opportunity is most likely a conversation away.
Everything in this world comes at a cost. It's up to you to decide what price you're willing to pay.
NEVER EVER EVER EVER sleep on your discernment/intuition. It's always right.
When people show you who they are, believe them the first time before they have a chance to study you and pretend.
Kill the impostor syndrome by acknowledging, tracking, and celebrating ALL your wins. Both BIG and small.
You don't have to experience something yourself to know it's bad. Observing others is enough.
I still stand TEN TOES down on the fact that pineapple DOES belong on pizza.

In the workplace, visibility will get you ahead much faster than just hard work.
Not everyone is meant to be present with you in every season. It's not always malicious; it's just seasonal.
Having faith in God will anchor and ground you. In the hills and valleys. He's always present.
2025 has come and gone. It's been a year full of hills, valleys, triumphs, and failures. Let's close this chapter and audaciously walk into 2026. Happy New Year!
